"You think you're better than me?" = "Clearly, you are better than me."
"I couldn't identify with it." = "It's not about me, so I'm not interested."
"It was pretentious." = "I didn't get it."
"You think too much." = "I don't think nearly enough."
"I don't want to think." = "I'm everything that's wrong with the world."
